The Convent Glen Orléans Wood Community Association and the École élémentaire publique L'Odyssée are joining forces to host a "Movie in the Park" evening. This family-friendly community event aims to bring residents together while raising funds to support the food bank.
For the occasion, the public will have the pleasure of watching in French the animated film Racetime (La Course des tuques), the sequel to the famous classic Snowtime! (La Guerre des tuques).
The screening will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at dusk (around 7:30 p.m.) on the grounds located at 1770 Grey Nuns Drive, Orléans.
In response to the growing challenge of accessing sufficient food, both of our organizations have chosen to come together to support the food bank operated by the Lowertown Community Resource Centre. The evening offers a warm, welcoming opportunity to connect, enjoy family entertainment, and provide direct support to local households facing food insecurity. Financial contributions will be on a voluntary basis so that everyone can participate according to their means.
